In the first blog of 2012 my theme is making a reconnection within your heart. The concept of this will later this year be central to a retreat I am planning, details of which will appear soon.
“The Heart energy overrides everything. It has no opinion on your spiritual belief, what your lifestyle is, what colour you are, what your profession may be or what gender you are. But, when you are in the heart energy, you are truly in the heart of the matter”.
Heart Disease: THE Biggest Killer in the Western World

Did you know that heart disease is the biggest killer in the UK; it claims one adult life every 3 minutes, and is blamed for nearly two-fifths of the deaths in people aged 75 and under. Yet, this condition doesn’t just affect the UK; circulatory disease is widespread across the Western world. Every year, approximately 25% of all deaths in the US occur from heart attacks.
Two powerful statements I think you will agree.
In a book I read many years ago, a German doctor says the heart is the only organ in the body not to get cancer. He also says, “Cancer is the worlds cry for LOVE “.
If the Heart is the representative for LOVE surely this must be so. ?
Then why is it we spend so much of our time so far outside of our hearts? Not living our hearts desire, not being true to our hearts. Believing we are lesser than, not good enough, not beautiful enough, not thin enough, not the right colour, not the right height, and on and on and on. Our poor hearts are trying to keep up amidst the trauma of all these ‘nots’. Is it any wonder therefore that the Heart is under so much pressure and eventually gives up under the strain. It is recognised by many that what we give our attention to expands.
Reconnecting in the Heart asks that we speak to our self authentically.
Reconnecting The Heart asks “ So who am I and why am I here?”
A Reconnected Heart says, “I hear you and sings your name”.
A Heart Reconnected says “I feel you, welcome”.
The Heart knows the truth, the truth of who you truly are.
I feel that the heart is where everything lies; it is always at ‘The Heart of the Matter’. And now from this moment on it is imperative we live our lives on purpose, in open hearted honesty and in utterly authentic ways. No more making do, putting up with, fear of offending someone etc. We must heal the heart of all its past traumas’ and fears. Fears of heartbreak and heartache, moving from anger to love, from sadness to happiness, from all pain to emotional freedom.
“It’s time to wake up, get real and get started”.
There is no more time out!
Time has run out; look how fast it passes us by now?
So why wait?
