The purpose of a blessing ceremony is to consciously sanctify and celebrate the entrance into the world of your child/children. It is to give thanks for the miracle of this new life and to support the mother and father in stepping into parenthood consciously with love and clarity. It is to acknowledge the sacred role that the grandparents and the godparents will be guardians offering unconditional love, acceptance and wisdom to this new generation, and to honour the interconnectedness of us all. It is a ceremony of great celebration, gratitude and joy.
